GAN ISLAND POSTS [Extracts]
Articles, stories and general chit-chat from the much missed free oracle that was the Gan Island Post! Produced voluntarily by Gannites' in a room behind the Education Section on a spare Gestetner printer, and coming out weekly, the GIP gave Gannites' space to vent their spleen, invent stories, to accuse, reply to accusations, and even occasionally to learn something! Sports scores, Astra listings and Radio Gan Times also featured. Below is a selection of articles, letters and stories from various GIP`s [Many thanks to Doug Herberson in particular]. Please note: I have left the grammar as it first appeared, but there may be one or two word/spelling mistakes caused by my Optical Character Recognition program not recognizing the words correctly.
